Tut

Wen (Reading a headline): "Broken leg may have killed Tutankhamun."
Suz (Laughs): Really?
Wen: I was absolutely fascinated with King Tut as a child. It started with a jigsaw puzzle of his gold coffin.
Suz: I find that whole era fascinating. Did you see the King Tut exhibit?
Wen: No, but I owned the Steve Martin record.

Wow, I feel so with it. I owned the Steve Martin record AND saw the exhibit.

They have a plaster-of-paris life-size replica of it at the Luxor in Las Vegas. They even left it there after the took out the fake Nile river.

Thanks for the laugh.

That Tut was one wild boy. Perhaps, possibly, maybe he broke his leg, while falling. Hitting his head, running away from...waiting on more reasearch.

Love the trip down memory lane. That Stevie-he be a cut up.

Might miss this bigger showing :( Saw it in '77 -still very cool-

I'd forgotten all about that Steve Martin song until you mentioned it. It's been stuck in my head ever since. Thanks? ;p

And to think I get worked up over having to wait two weeks for CT scan results. That boy king had one shitty HMO.

When I was in 7th grade I did a whole big report on King Tut and Egyption burials. But, what I really loved is all the gold.

Yeah, I'm a gold digger.

LOL...I loved Steve Martin and King Tut. I think I might still have it on 8-track. I also bought his book "Cruel Shoes." I don't think I understood all the adult humor but it was funny indeed.
